What are your rental rates?
Our rents start at $1,300 and include many ancillary services which can be viewed on our Independent Living page.
Does your staff have experience working with seniors and their families?
We are proud of our excellent management and support staff. We encourage you to learn more about the management team on our Meet the Staff page.
Am I required to purchase a meal plan?
Residents are not required to purchase a meal plan, although complimentary breakfast is offered each day. Lunch and Dinner is also offered each day and can be purchased on an a la carte basis or as part of a meal plan. We are extremely proud of our food service program because of the outstanding quality and variety. We encourage you to take a look at our sample lunch and dinner menus.
Do you offer activities and social programming?
The Kenwood offers an outstanding variety of activities which includes card groups, speakers, luncheons and events. Please take a look at our Activities page and Calendar for more details.
Do you provide transportation services for the residents?
Yes, we have a bus that runs five days per week. We offer scheduled transportation and can get you to any number of locations. There is no charge for this service as it is included in your monthly rent. Please refer to our Bus Schedule for more details.
Is there a waitlist to get into The Kenwood?
The Kenwood offers 12 floor plans to choose from, which can be seen by clicking here. Waitlists can vary by the floor plan and time of year, so depending when you inquire; we may or may not have a waitlist. If you have an interest in moving to The Kenwood, we would encourage you to tour early so that you will be able to get the floor plan of your choice when you are ready to move.
Is the building staffed 24 hours per day?
We do have staff in the building 24 hours per day. The front desk is staffed 24 hours per day, and we also have Home Health Aides in the building 24 hours per day.
Are therapy services available in the building?
The Kenwood has a Preferred Provider Relationship with Gentiva Health Services to provide in-house Therapy services. Gentiva therapists can provide residents with physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as an award-winning balance improvement program call Safe Strides.
Do you have an age requirement?
The Kenwood is operated on a non-discriminatory basis. However, we do have a minimum age requirement of 62.
Is there guest and resident parking available?
We have heated underground parking available for residents for a small monthly fee. We also have visitor parking lots located on the north and south side of the building.
